Committee for Sock Care Standards

Our Mission:

To ensure that all socks are worn in a way that is comfortable and aesthetically pleasing, while also protecting the world from the horrors of lone socks.

We have set the following standards for sock wear:

• Socks shall be worn on feet.
• Socks shall not be worn on hands, head, or as a makeshift ascot.
• Matching sock pairs are encouraged, but not required.
• Single socks, when worn alone, shall be worn on opposite sides of the foot, never on the same foot.
