Ugh, you know what's just wrong? People who don't cook their rice long enough. I mean, seriously, what's the point of even calling it "undercooked" if it's still got some semblance of life left?
It's like the difference between a good ol' fashioned fist-bump and a limp handshake. You gotta put in the elbow grease, the sweat, the tears. Get that rice cooked to that perfect, slightly-crystallized-in-the-middle spot, or don't even bother calling it rice.
