Rules of Spoon Jousting

Article 1: The Spoon

The official spoon of the tournament shall be made of pure titanium, 12 inches long, and have a handle that is precisely 1.5 inches in diameter.

The spoon shall be wielded by the jouster with a grip that is at least 4 inches in length, allowing for maximum control and intimidation.

Article 2: The Joust

Each match shall consist of three jousts, with each jouster facing off against their opponent.

The jousts shall take place in a circular arena, 20 feet in diameter, with a central pole that is exactly 15 feet high.

The jousters shall wear protective gear, including a helmet, a chest plate, and a pair of goggles.

Article 3: The Judges

The three judges shall be chosen by the tournament organizers, and shall be experts in the field of spoon jousting.

The judges shall be seated on a raised platform, 5 feet above the arena floor.

The judges shall score the jousts based on the following criteria: style, technique, and sheer, unadulterated awesomeness.
