In a world where the judges are notoriously picky, the competition has come down to this: a showdown between the crème de la crème of the vegetable world. Will it be a beet, a beet, or a beet-iful beet? Only the judges know, and only they will decide.
Each category has its own set of rules, which are as follows:
- Size: The bigger, the better.
- Color: The more vibrant, the merrier.
- Shape: The more irregular, the better.
- Texture: The more tactile, the more likely to win.
- Odour: The more pungent, the more likely to win.
And remember, the judges are not to be trifled with, or else you will be disqualified.
The competition will be held on the following dates:
- Monday, March 21st
- Tuesday, March 22nd
- Wednesday, March 23rd
The prizes for the competition are as follows:
- The Golden Carrot Award
- The Silver Beet Award
- The Bronze Broccoli Award
And, of course, bragging rights for the rest of the year.
