Case 6: The Great Cheese Deterrent was an exercise in attempting to rid a kitchen of its resident cheese-hating entity, a being known as the "Cheese Hater" (CH). The CH had been terrorizing local cheese vendors, causing an 80% reduction in sales. Our client, a local cheese monger, sought to find a solution to this problem.
We proposed a series of high-contrast color scheme and aggressive typography, as well as a 2px thick black border to create a sense of foreboding. Our team also recommended the installation of an air vent that would blow the scent of fresh bread into the CH's lair, in an effort to reprogram the entity's preferences. Unfortunately, the results were less than optimal. The CH simply grew accustomed to the smell and began to crave it.
