The Facts of the Case
On February 1, 2023, at 08:00 AM, reports of missing donuts were received from the Anytown Donut Shop.
Investigation revealed that the shop had a large display case filled with donuts, but upon further inspection, the donuts had vanished.
The shop's owner, Mr. Johnson, reported that he had locked the display case the previous night, but upon arriving for work the next morning, the donuts were gone.
Witnesses reported seeing a suspicious figure lurking around the shop around 10:00 PM the previous night, but no one was seen taking the donuts.
Forensic analysis revealed that the donuts were not only stolen, but also replaced with identical replicas of donuts, complete with fake sprinkles and icing.
