Step 1: Desaturate Your Life

Remove all colours from your life. Start by getting rid of your favourite bright clothes, then work your way up to removing all colours from your home, then your food, and finally your emotions.

Proceed to Step 2: Learn to Feel Shades

Step 2: Learn to Feel Shades

Distinguish between 20 different shades of grey, and learn to describe them in vivid detail. This will take approximately 10 years of practice.

Proceed to Step 3: Develop a Sense of Tint

Step 3: Develop a Sense of Tint

Practice describing the difference between 10 different tints of grey. This will take approximately 5 years of practice.

Proceed to Step 4: Learn to See Hues
