In the year 3050, the Cookie Overlords, a cabal of powerful cookie manufacturers, controlled the flow of cookies across the globe. The people were forced to subsist on a meager diet of stale crackers.
Citizens were reduced to scrounging for crumbs in abandoned bakeries, their once-vibrant lives now mere shadows of their former selves.
But then, something changed.
A ragtag group of rebels, known as the Crumb Bakers, rose up against the Cookie Overlords.
Armed with their trusty rolling pins and pastry bags, they stormed the Cookie Castle, demanding an end to cookie rationing and the restoration of the cookie supply.
The Cookie Overlords, caught off guard, were quickly overthrown, and the people were granted their sweet, sweet freedom.
But, as with all revolutions, the aftermath was messy.
