The Shortbread Sacrifice

A Brief History

Legend has it that the Shortbread Sacrifice was a ritual performed by a secret society of bakers in ancient times. Every 7th day, they would sacrifice a wheel of Shortbread to the gods of Sugar and Flour.

Their prayers were always answered, for the Shortbread Sacrifice was said to grant the bakers unparalleled crumbly texture and a crust that would make the gods weep with envy.
