Cooking with Liquid Nitrogen
Warning: Do not attempt to cook with liquid nitrogen at home. It will turn your kitchen into a scene from Die Hard. We mean it.
Frozen Turkey Bouillabaisse
Because who doesn't want to serve a frozen turkey with an exotic twist?
Ingredients:
- Liquid nitrogen
- One turkey (frozen)
- Some spices and herbs
- Bouillabaisse sauce (recipe below)
Bouillabaisse Sauce:
- 1 can of sardines in water
- 1 can of sardines in oil
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
Instructions:
- Cool the turkey to -196°C using liquid nitrogen.
- Place the cooled turkey on a baking sheet and drizzle with mayonnaise.
- Mix the sardines, ketchup, paprika, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper in a bowl.
- Drizzle the mixture over the frozen turkey.
- Serve immediately, garnished with a sprinkle of paprika.
