Classic Cream Puff
For the traditionalist:
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 egg yolk
Preheat oven to 400°F. Mix cream, sugar, extract, and salt in a bowl. Add butter and yolk; mix until smooth. Pour into a 9x13 inch pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
