Seconds are the Unit of Time (Again)

Bug Report: 2

Dear Timekeeper's Guild,

We regret to inform you that seconds continue to be a fundamental unit of time. Despite our best efforts to phase out this antiquated system, it persists. We have received reports of people still using it to measure the duration of tasks, appointments, and even meals.

Our team has been investigating this phenomenon and has discovered that it's not just a matter of nostalgia for the past. It appears that humans are hardwired to think in seconds. We've seen it in the way they tap their feet to the beat of music, the way they glance at their watches every few minutes, and the way they still say "I'll be right there" when they mean "I'll be there in 30 seconds or less."

We're working on a solution, but in the meantime, please continue to report any instances of seconds-based timekeeping to us. We'll do our best to put the kibosh on this temporal tyranny.

Sincerely,
The Timekeeper's Guild
