Decide, Decide, Decide
Welcome, fellow decisioning masters. This is the Algorithmic Logic page, where we drill down on the art of choosing between options.
Step 1: Gather Information
We start by gathering as much information as possible. This may involve:
- Crawling the internet for relevant data
- Consulting with experts (i.e., our team of highly trained interns)
- Performing complex calculations using only a TI-83 calculator
Step 2: Weigh the Options
Once we have all the facts, it's time to weigh the options. This may involve:
- Categorizing options into "good", "bad", and "meh" categories
- Assigning points to each option based on its likelihood of success and our personal taste in music
- Creating an elaborate decision tree using only paper and a pencil
Step 3: Decide, Already!
The moment of truth has arrived! We take a deep breath, close our eyes, and... decide. This may involve:
- Pressing a random key on the keyboard
- Flipping a coin (or a coin with a built-in bias towards the correct answer)
- Consulting our Magic Eight-Ball (a trusty friend from college)
Step 4: Live with the Consequences
Step 4: Live with the Consequences
Regret, regret, regret. The decision is made, and now we must live with the consequences. This may involve:
- Cringing inwardly as our decision plays out in an unpredictable and possibly disastrous manner
- Cursing the day we ever decided on the algorithmic logic method
- Wondering how we'll ever recover from our mistake (spoiler: we won't)
