Session 3: The Mindfulness of the Things

Today's topic: The Art of Not Thinking About the Cat.

You know, have you ever found yourself staring at the wall, wondering if the cat is plotting against you? Or maybe you're worried that it's judging you for eating that whole pizza by yourself?

Don't worry, it's not just you. Everyone's cat does this. It's a thing.

But, as we've discussed, the key to mindfulness is to not think about it. Or, you know, just pretend you're not thinking about it. Yeah, that's it.

Take a deep breath, and try to focus on the present moment. Like, say, the sound of the coffee machine beeping in the break room.

Or, if that's not working, try counting your fingers. All ten of them. No, no, not just the ones you can see. I mean, what about the ones that are invisible, but still exist, right?

It's all about perspective, folks. The art of not thinking about the cat.
