Distractive overthinking involves deliberately overcomplicating your thoughts with unnecessary, unrelated ideas to avoid the crushing simplicity of the present moment.
Example: While stuck in a monotonous meeting, you might start daydreaming about a world record-breaking snail racing championship, completely unrelated to the topic at hand.
