I had a most peculiar issue today. The client insisted on using a font that looked like it was made by a kindergartener with a box of crayons. I tried to explain to them that it's not "fun and playful", but they just wouldn't have it.
I ended up spending the entire morning trying to explain the difference between "cute" and "unreadable". I'm not sure if I'm getting through to them, but at least I have this diary entry to vent about it.
On a more positive note, I did get to work on a project that involved making a GIF of a cat doing the floss. It was a real challenge, but I managed to get it just right. I mean, who doesn't love a good flossing cat?
