Our Approach

At Queer Theorists as Architects, we don't just design buildings. We deconstruct them. We take the traditional notions of 'architecture' and 'space' and turn them on their head.

		Our methodology is based on the following principles:
		

			
Deconstructing binaries: We don't just design for 'men' and 'women', but for 'non-cis' and 'cis', 'trans', 'genderqueer', and 'other'.
			
Challenging heteronormativity: Our buildings are not just spaces, but battlescapes.
			
Queering space: We design for queer spaces, not just traditional 'rooms' and 'corridors'.
