A History of Disastrous Dates

It all started with the great Roman Fiasco of 42 BCE, where Julius Caesar's date to the Colosseum went up in flames.

Then, in the year 1000 CE, Medieval Mayhem occurred, when a group of knights accidentally set fire to their own castle while trying to impress their dates.

But little did we know, it would get worse. Much worse. Like, Parrot-astrophe worse, where a group of singles in a speed dating event got stuck in a loop of awkward small talk and screaming parrots.

And let's not forget The Great 2024 Disaster Date, where a group of people tried to set a new world record for longest duration of awkward silence, but ended up setting off a nearby fire alarm instead.
