Wherein We Relish the Tale of the Most Inept Parenting

It was a typical Tuesday morning when disaster struck. My sister, who was 5 at the time, decided it would be a great idea to 'help' me with my morning coffee. She managed to knock over the entire bag of coffee beans, spilling them all over the kitchen floor.

As I stood there, frozen in horror, she exclaimed "I was just trying to help!" I couldn't help but laugh, and in that moment, our family's legacy as the most hapless of parents was born.

We've since had our fair share of mishaps, but that fateful day marked the beginning of a beautiful, chaotic journey.
