Our Story, Challenge Two: "The Great Sushi Fiasco"

After our disastrous blind date with the wrong person, we thought we had learned our lesson. But no, we had to go and try again. This time, we decided to spice things up with a night of sushi-making. Sounds like a good idea, right? Wrong. It started with a trip to the local sushi supply store where we bought 17 different types of wasabi. Seventeen! We thought we were going for a record.

We made it to the restaurant, but things quickly took a turn for the worse. We were told we needed to pay $200 for the "sushi-grade" fish. Sushi-grade? Is that a thing?

We ended up leaving the restaurant with a bunch of mediocre rolls, a bunch of wasabi stains on our clothes, and a bad taste in our mouths. But you know what? We learned. We learned that sushi is hard to make, and it's even harder to eat when you're trying to be adventurous. But hey, at least we have our dignity. Right?
