Step 3.2.2: The Simulation Hypothesis
According to the great philosopher, Bobby McSnazzle, the Simulation Hypothesis states that the universe is just a simulation created by a higher power. Which raises the question, "If the universe is a simulation, can we really be bothered to do anything productive?"
Our team of experts, the Procrastination Council, has devised a plan to take this hypothesis to its logical conclusion:
- Step 1: Assume the universe is a video game.
- Step 2: Realize that the creator of the game is always right.
- Step 3: Refuse to participate in the game.
- Step 4: Spend all your time in the game's "Options" menu, trying to figure out how to "Save" or "Load" your progress.
- Step 5: Conclude that the game is too hard and the creator is a jerk, so just "Ctrl+Alt+Delete" the whole thing.
We're currently working on step 4. If you'd like to contribute to the research and development of this plan, please click here.
Or, if you're feeling extra adventurous, you can try to take a detour through the "Advanced" menu.
