Technique 5: Imagination Yacht-ing

Imagine you're on a luxury cruise liner, sailing through life with the wind in your hair and a martini in your hand. Or maybe that's just the coffee you spilled on your keyboard while trying to meet that deadline.

Either way, the goal of this technique is to temporarily forget about your responsibilities by picturing yourself on a serene, sun-kissed deck, sipping a fruity cocktail and feeling the ocean breeze in your face.

Benefits:

But don't get too comfortable. You can't stay in imaginary paradise forever. Unless you're a trust fund heiress, in which case, carry on.
