Subprinciple 2: The Trunk-ness of Form

As an elephant designer, one must consider the intricate dance of form and function. A well-designed trunk should be both aesthetically pleasing and efficient.

Consider the following:

• The Importance of Trunk Length - How much length is too much length?
• The Art of Trunk Tapering - When to start and stop the taper, and why.

But for now, let us focus on the perfect blend of form and function.

For this subprinciple, we recommend a 45-degree angle on the tip of the trunk. Anything more or less will be considered a design failure.

Remember, form follows function, but function follows the whims of the elephant.
