Mystical Scepter Lore

In a land far, far away, where beards were the true measure of a wizard's might, the Mystical Scepter was forged in the depths of the Dragon's Spine Mountains. This fearsome relic was said to grant its wielder unparalleled power, but at a terrible cost: their beard would become a sentient, talking entity with a penchant for knock-knock jokes.

The first recorded use of the Mystical Scepter was by the legendary wizard, Sir Reginald P. Bottomsworth III. His majestic mane of a beard, known as the "Fearsome Fuzzball," was said to have reached the ground with its roots. With the Scepter in hand, Sir Reginald was able to defeat the Dark Lord of the Underworld and bring peace to the land. But, alas, his beard's newfound sentience soon drove him mad, and he was last seen wandering the countryside, shouting "Who's there? WHO'S THERE?!"

The Scepter's current location is unknown, but rumors speak of a secret society of wizards who seek to reclaim its power. They are led by the enigmatic and dashing, Professor McScepterface, who is said to possess a beard of pure, unadulterated awesomeness.
