The Nap Olympics is a premier event for the world's most accomplished nappers. It's like the Olympics, but instead of competing in sports, we're competing in the ancient art of doing nothing.
It's simple! Just train for years, honing your napping skills in the most uncomfortable, poorly lit, and noisy locations possible. Then, apply for the Nap Olympics. We have a rigorous selection process involving nap-themed trivia, sleep deprivation challenges, and the all-important "can you stay up all night?" test.
We've got the 400-meter Nap-a-Thon: a test of speed and endurance as you nap in the same position for as long as possible. The 4x4 Nap-athlon: a relay team event where four nappers take turns napping while their teammate holds the alarm clock. And, of course, the Freestyle Frenzy: just nap wherever, whenever, and however you like, as long as you're not disturbing your neighbors.
Oh yes! No napping on the job, for one. You must be awake and alert for any nap-related injuries. Also, no napping during commercial breaks. And don't even think about using a pillow. We've got a zero-tolerance policy for those who would try to cheat with a little comfort.
