First up, RESISTANCE! It's like, you know, the opposite of conductance. Yeah, it's a real thing, don't @ me.
So, a resistor is like, a thing that makes things harder for your circuit to do its thing. You know, like, it's like a big ol' party pooper. But don't worry, it's not all bad. In fact, you can use them to make your circuit do all sorts of cool things, like... like... um, make a really bright light! (Just, uh, just don't ask me how to make the light not too bright, that's a whole different story.)
