Theremin Tapestry

Artist's Statement:

"I spent 12 years studying the intricacies of the theremin, only to realize it's actually just a bunch of knobs and wires. Now I'm obsessed with weaving a new kind of art: one that combines the theremin's eerie moan with the tactile experience of tapestry-making. My 'Theremin Tapestry' series explores the intersection of sonic experimentation and textile art, because who needs opposites when you can make them make out?

Sound Wave Sonnets

A series of 10 sonnets, each one a poem about a different sound wave. Because, you know, the theremin's all about the sine and cosine of life.

Aural Weavings

Wherein I've taken the theremin's eerie tones and woven them into a series of tapestries, each one a representation of a different musical note. It's like listening to music with your eyes.
