January 2nd, 2000, was a day of reckoning for the park's ancient computer system. It started with reports of the "Error 404: Not Found" message displayed on every screen, only to be followed by an onslaught of "System Failure: Critical" alarms and the occasional "Your Account has been suspended for suspicious activity" emails.
And so, on that fateful day, the park's IT staff found themselves in the midst of a digital war zone, frantically trying to put out fires and reboot the system. Little did they know, this was just the beginning of a long and arduous process of debugging and patching... or was it?
