Section 5: The Sock Regulation Act of 2023

This section outlines the regulations for sock ownership and usage within the Found Socks Republic.

Article 1: Sock Registration

Every citizen of the Found Socks Republic must register their socks with the Sock Regulatory Agency within 30 days of acquiring them.

Failure to register will result in a fine of 500 sock-bucks and/or a mandatory sock-ectomy.

Article 2: Sock Length and Width

Socks must not exceed 12 inches in length and 6 inches in width.

Any sock exceeding these dimensions will be subject to confiscation and/or destruction.

Article 3: Sock Color

Only approved colors are:

• Approved colors: Section 5-3: Approved Colors
• Disapproved colors: Section 5-4: Disapproved Colors

Any other color will be subject to a fine of 200 sock-bucks and/or a mandatory sock-oling.
