Meeting 1: The Invention of Bureaucratic-Bonanza

Presented by Deputy-Deviator, Department of Unnecessary Red Tape, 1987.

The meeting was called to discuss the implementation of Bureaucratic-Bonanza, a system of interdepartmental paperwork and form-filing that was meant to streamline the process of doing nothing.

Deputy-Deviator presented the idea, which was met with a mixture of skepticism and confusion by the other department heads.

A heated debate ensued, with arguments ranging from "But what about the carbon footprint of all the paper!" to "I'm not sure I understand what we're doing here."

Despite the chaos, Bureaucratic-Bonanza was implemented, and the department has never been the same since.
