Neo-Brutalist Award Criteria: Because We're Not Afraid to Be Unconventional
Our awards are given out based on the following criteria:
- Aesthetic Dissonance: Does the design make a viewer's eyes hurt? Check.
- Visual Overload: Can the viewer feel their eyes water from trying to focus?
- Cognitive Dissonance: Does the design make you wonder if the creator was having a laugh?
- Ethereal Dissonance: Does the design seem like it was made by a sentient, yet malevolent, AI?
- Neon Overload: Does the design make your eyes bleed from the excessive use of neon colors?
Each criteria is weighted equally, but if we're being honest, Aesthetic Dissonance is the most important one.
For example, this design would score high on Aesthetic Dissonance and Visual Overload.
