Firestarting 101 with LadySparklesMcSparkles

Step 1: Gather materials. You know, the usual: twigs, dry leaves, and that one weird rock that's been sitting in your backyard for 17 years.

Step 2: Find a safe, dry spot. Not too close to the cat, not too close to the laundry room. You don't want any... unpleasantness.

Step 3: Build your fire. Use the 3-2-1 method: three twigs, two leaves, one rock. Repeat as necessary until you have a decent flame.

For bonus points, try to get your fire to resemble a majestic, fiery mane of a lion. It's all about the aesthetics, folks.
