In order to join the illustrious ranks of the Shadow Weaver's Guild, one must first demonstrate a proven track record of successfully weaving shadows into existence.
Shadow Weaving Fundamentals
- Ability to thread a needle with precision and finesse
- Fluency in Shadowscript, the ancient art of shadow manipulation
- Experience with at least three forms of dark, foreboding materials (e.g., black cotton, velvet, or the finest Italian silk)
- Knowledge of at least five different methods for creating an effective shadow disguise
Physical Requirements
- Height: 5'8" - 6'2" (with a 1" margin of error)
- Weight: Proportional to height (i.e., no beanstalks or sumo wrestlers, please)
- Eyes: Must be able to see well enough to thread a needle, but not so well that it becomes suspicious
- Hands: Must have dexterous fingers and opposable thumbs (no claws, however)
Additionally, applicants must submit a portfolio of their best shadow weavings, including:
- A simple, yet elegant shadow cloak
- A shadowy, yet discernible, shadow puppet
- A tasteful, yet ominous, shadowy tapestry
