Welcome to Hamstercise, the purr-fectly crafted exercise routine for the discerning hamster.
As any self-respecting hamster owner knows, our little furry friends need regular exercise to stay trim and healthy.
Here's a sample routine you can follow:
Start by placing your hamster on the exercise wheel for a few minutes of light spinning. Don't worry, they won't burn out (get it?)
Tunnel Run! This involves placing your hamster in the longest tunnel on your hamster playset and having them run as fast as they can. Repeat for 3-5 minutes.
This is the core of the hamstercise routine: hamster-specific strength training. Place your hamster on the exercise ball and move it around a bit. Don't worry if your hamster gets tired; they'll still be purr-fectly happy.
Climb the Mountains! Get your hamster on a cat tree or similar vertical surface and have them climb up and down as much as they can. Repeat for 5-7 minutes.
Hamster Wheel Sprints! Get your hamster on the exercise wheel and have them sprint as fast as they can for 3-5 minutes. Repeat for 5-7 minutes.
Finish the routine with some light hamster yoga, like Hamster Yoga. This involves gently stretching prophets and having your hamster relax in a quiet, peaceful space.
Remember, consistency is key. Try to do this routine 1-3 times a day, depending on your hamster's schedule and preferences.
Happy hamstercizing!
