Food Groups

Here is a list of the 16 official food groups, because who needs less than 16?

Group 1: Fats Butter, oils, and all that jazz.
Group 2: Carbohydrates Carbs, carbs, and more carbs. Eat your way to happiness?
Group 3: Proteins Beef, chicken, fish, and the occasional tofu.
Group 4: Fiber Leafy greens, beans, and all that hippie stuff.
Group 5: Vitamins Vitamins, the ultimate energy drink!
Group 6: Minerals Minerals, because rocks are delicious!
Group 7: Condiments Ketchup, mustard, and the occasional hot sauce.
Group 8: Spices Curry, cumin, and all that spice-rack magic.
Group 9: Herbs Herbs, because basil is not just for pizza anymore.
Group 10: Acids Lemon, vinegar, and the occasional stomach acid.
Group 11: Alkali Baking soda, baking powder, and the occasional soap.
Group 12: Alkaloids Caffeine, nicotine, and the occasional hangover.
Group 13: Alkaloids 2: Electric Boogaloo Caffeine, nicotine, and the occasional energy drink.
Group 14: Alkaloids 3: The Sequel Caffeine, nicotine, and the occasional mid-day slump.
Group 15: Alkaloids 4: The Final Cut Caffeine, nicotine, and the occasional all-nighter.
Group 16: Alkaloids 5: The Reboot Caffeine, nicotine, and the occasional energy drink 2.0.
