Understanding URLs: The Boring Part
Okay, so, uh, URLs are, like, strings of stuff with forward slashes and stuff.
- Forward slashes: These are the slashes that are, well, not forward slashes, but slashes that are facing forward. They separate stuff.
- Query Strings: These are the stuff that comes after the ? and before the !, which is, like, never actually a ! in URLs.
- HTTP Methods: There's GET, POST, PUT, DELETE... but not, like, "I'm a little teapot"...
Now that you're all caught up on the basics, let's move on to something slightly less boring.
What's the Point of All This?
So, you want to be a master browser, huh? Well, buckle up, Buttercup, because we've got some querying to do!
Or, maybe you just want to be a master of nothing and just pretend to be interested in this stuff?
