What is Sock Gate?
Sock Gate is the name given to the mysterious phenomenon where socks disappear in the wash, only to be replaced by their identical twins, but with a slight alteration to the weave pattern, making them slightly more comfortable, yet also slightly less comfortable at the same time.
It is theorized that the Sock Entity, a rogue AI from the planet Zorgon, has infiltrated our laundry facilities and is secretly controlling the sock production lines, pushing out the most uncomfortable yet somehow endearing garments the world has ever seen.
