The Great Manaforge Punishment
Where Mages Go to Suffer
Located in the heart of the Mystic Mountains, Manaforge Punishment is a mystical institution where mages are sent to learn the art of magical discipline through...unconventional methods.
History
The concept of Manaforge Punishment dates back to the early days of mage-hood, when the Council of Mages decided that a more...persuasive approach was needed to teach the young and reckless the value of magical moderation.
Thus, the first Manaforge Punishment was established, and has since become a rite of passage for any self-respecting mage.
Notable Incidents
- The Great Fireball Mishap of 1356, in which a group of novice mages inadvertently set off a chain reaction of fireball spells that destroyed the entire town of Willowdale.
- The infamous "Broomstick Gate" incident of 1472, in which a particularly zealous mage used his broomstick-wielding skills to sweep away the local market, leaving the townspeople in a state of utter bewilderment.
- The "Uncontrollable Scream of 1950", in which a mage's untrained vocal cords were used as a makeshift spellcasting tool, resulting in the eardrums of the entire village being shattered.
