Section 1, Subsection 3: Galactic Taxation and Intergalactic Trade

Article 1: The Intergalactic Trade Act of 8976

This law establishes the framework for taxation in the galaxy.

The rates are as follows:

Planetary Trade Tariff (PTT): 10% on all imports and exports
Galactic Value-Added Tax (G-VAT): 20% on all goods and services

Subsection 1: Exemptions and Deductions

Exemptions:

Intergalactic diplomats and ambassadors
Galactic explorers and cartographers

Subsection 2: Penalties and Fines

Failure to pay taxes on time will result in:

A penalty of 100x the tax amount
A fine of 1000 credits
