It's a little-known fact that in 1985, Bob Brown, a self-proclaimed 'visionary' of the business world, attempted to charge customers at McDonald's for tennis balls instead of food. The year was 1985, and the world was on the brink of chaos.
According to eyewitnesses, Bob would approach customers at McDonald's, pen in hand, and scribble up a bill for 'Tennis Ball Services' that included a 'T-Ball Combo' for $5.99, a 'T-Ball Deluxe' for $7.99, and a 'T-Ball Supreme' for $9.99.
Needless to say, this did not end well for Bob. The patrons of McDonald's were not amused, and the franchise's management was less than thrilled. But Bob, undeterred, continued to peddle his 'T-Ball Empire' until the end of time.
