LEG DAY: Technique 2 - Leg Raises for the Weak

Warning: This is not for the faint of heart (or leg muscles).

You're not a baby, are you? You think you can handle some real leg action? Alright, let's get this over with. Leg Raises for the Weak is the ultimate test of strength, endurance, and willpower. Or, you know, just plain masochism.

Start with a leg press machine. Don't bother trying to do it freehand, you'll just end up on the floor, crying, and wondering what you've done with your life.

Begin with 10 reps, then increase the weight in 5-pound increments until you're doing 20 reps with 50 pounds. Or until you can't move, whichever comes first.

Now, for the love of all that is holy, don't forget to stretch. Your legs, your back, your sanity. You'll need it.
