The incident occurred on 2023-02-27, during the 4th quarter of the year. The lobby's fire suppression system failed, allowing a small fire to spread.
A team of highly trained safety professionals were dispatched to contain the situation. They used an excessive amount of water to put out the fire, causing a minor flood in the lobby.
As a result, the lobby is currently undergoing repairs. The new carpet is scheduled for delivery on 2024-03-17.
The incident investigation revealed that the fire suppression system had not been properly maintained. The system has been upgraded to include more frequent inspections and testing.
