MANDATE 7: Clarifications Submandate 3
WHEREAS the Council of Unanimous Experts has gathered to codify the most precise and unassailable truths of our time;
BE IT HEREBY decreed:
Article 1: Definition of "Socks"
For the purposes of this submandate, "socks" shall be defined as:
- "Any foot-covering, arch-supporting, and toe-encasing article of footwear."
- "Not to be confused with 'stockings,' which are for fancy occasions and dancing, but also may be worn for athletic purposes, such as running or jumping."
Article 2: Sock Pairs
Every pair of socks shall be composed of:
- "One sock of a complementary color to the other, except on Wednesdays."
- "A matching pattern, unless the pattern is plaid, in which case the patterns must be identical."
Article 3: Sock Drawer Organization
Every drawer shall be organized with the following:
- "Socks of similar color and pattern together, with the exception of the lone, black, and holey sock, which shall be placed in the center of the drawer."
By the power vested in us, the Council of Unanimous Experts, it is hereby decreed that these clarifications shall be binding upon all persons, corporations, and entities subject to our jurisdiction.
