Mandate #35, January 1, 01

In the year 2023, the Ministry of Redundancy issued Mandate #35 to all citizens of the Republic of Bureaucracy.

Article 1: All citizens are required to wear plaid on Tuesdays

• Avoid wearing plaid on Mondays, as this is reserved for Administrative Mondays, when all citizens must wear their "I'm a Bureaucratic Employee" name tags.
• On Wednesdays, citizens are allowed to wear stripes, but only if they are accompanied by a valid "I'm a Bureaucratic Functionary" ID card.

Article 2: All public gatherings must be held in the presence of a minimum of 5 Bureaucratic Functionaries

• Exceptions to this rule include: weddings, funerals, and Bureaucratic meetings.
• Functionaries are not required to participate in actual events, but must be present in the vicinity, at all times.
