Lesson 1: Building Your Empire
Start by acquiring as much land as possible. Use your vast resources to purchase or coerce nearby villages into submission.
Next, appoint your most trusted (read: most terrified) servants as your advisors. These will be the ones you'll use to do your dirty work.Remember, the key to a successful empire is not just about ruling, it's about being feared. So, don't be afraid to get your hands dirty.

Lesson 2: Maintaining Control
Once you've built your empire, it's time to keep it from being overrun by those pesky villagers. Use your military to keep the peace, or, you know, just kill anyone who gets in your way.
Don't be afraid to use propaganda to shape public opinion. A well-placed rumor can go a long way in keeping your subjects in line.
And, of course, always keep your treasury full. A fat wallet can buy a lot of loyalty, and also a lot of guns.
