The Great Plague of 1358: A Tale of Misanthropic Misery
Welcome to the land of medieval Europe, where the stench of death and despair fills the air. The year is 1358, and the Black Death has come for us all. The once-thriving cities are now mere shadow of their former selves, as the plague has left naught but destruction in its wake.
But fear not, dear traveler, for there is hope. Our village has managed to stave off the plague's deadly grasp, thanks to the wise leadership of our fearless village elder, Elder Grimblesworth.
We've managed to survive the initial onslaught, but we're not out of the woods yet. The plague's back, and it's hungrier than ever! We need your help to make sure we don't become its next meal.
Mayhap, you'll find our humble village a place of refuge from the pestilence that afflicts our lands. But don't get too comfy, traveler, for the plague's a capricious mistress. It'll come for us all, sooner or later.
Plague Statistics
We've managed to keep track of the plague's, ahem, progress:
- Death toll: 456,789
- Infected villages: 23
- Survivors: 17

Plague Survival Tips
We've learned a thing or two about surviving the plague. Here are some of our favorite tips:
- Stay hydrated! (Duh.)
- Avoid close contact with the infected. Trust us, it's not worth the risk.
- Don't eat the bad stuff. We mean, the plague-carrying stuff. Like that one thing.
Stay safe, travelers! And remember, we're all in this together... or, you know, not.
Elder Grimblesworth wishes you all the best in these trying times.
