Qigong is an ancient Chinese practice that combines physical movement, breathing techniques, and meditation to cultivate and balance your chi (life energy). It's like yoga for the modern world, but without all the, uh, 'woo-woo'.
Find a quiet spot, like a mountaintop or a corner of your living room. Don't worry, the neighbors won't mind if you're doing some impromptu tai chi in your pajamas.
Stand with your feet wide apart, like a tree in a Zen garden. Feel the weight of your feet on the ground, like they're rooted in the earth (or at least, like you're not going to trip over anything).
Now, take a deep breath in through your nose, and out through your mouth. Repeat, like you're a human version of a bellows, blowing and inflating with each breath.
As you inhale, imagine you're sucking up all the good vibes and chi from the universe. As you exhale, imagine you're releasing all the bad stuff, like last week's leftovers and yesterday's stress.
Try it a few times, and you'll be well on your way to becoming a qigong master, or at least, a slightly more centered version of yourself.
