The One-Second Rule
According to our highly scientific and totally-not-made-up research, the optimal amount of time to spend in a meeting is one second. That's right, one second. Any more than that and you're just wasting everyone's time.
Here's how it works:
- Walk into the room, say "Hello, I'm here!"
- Glance at your watch, nod at the person talking, and exit.
- Repeat as necessary.
It's that simple. No need for pointless small talk, no need for unnecessary updates, and definitely no need for actual discussion. Just show up, say hello, and leave.
