THE TURQUOISE APOCALYPSE

On February 1st, 2019, the world was forever changed when the color scheme committee finally succumbed to the allure of turquoise. It was a day that would be etched in history, a day that would make you wonder how anyone could ever go back to black, white, and gray again.

At 9:47 AM, the CEO of Global Color Corporation walked into a meeting, a presentation folder clutched in his hand. "We must go with turquoise," he declared. "It is the color of trust, of reliability, of 'I'm-not-a-terrible-person-who-wears-pink-socks'!"

The room fell silent as the employees stared at the CEO, unsure of what to say or do. Some of them had already seen the presentation, and knew it was a 47-slide behemoth of doom. Others had not, and were now wondering if the man had finally lost his mind.

And so, it began. The turquoise apocalypse. A time of great change and upheaval. A time when people would be forced to wear the color of choice, whether they liked it or not.

But, as the saying goes, "when it comes to fashion, you can't go wrong with pink is the new black." Or, you know, the opposite.
