- Bob: I was at the copier. You can ask Karen, she'll vouch for me.
- Karen: I was at the copier too, but I didn't see anyone turn off the machine.
Conclusion:
We still don't know who turned off the coffee machine, but we're pretty sure it was one of the people who didn't want to be there.
